As the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 creeps ever closer, Nvidia has revealed the specs that gamers will need to get the most out of CD Projekt Red’s long-awaited sci-fi RPG.
The exact minimum and recommended specs for Cyberpunk 2077 haven’t been confirmed as yet, but Nvidia’s requirements for running the game with ray tracing turned on give us a good idea of what to expect.
Nvidia recommends a GeForce RTX 3080 for running Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p with 60 frames per second at ultra settings with ray tracing enabled, so it seems that running the game with ray tracing at 4K may be beyond all but a handful of graphics cards (and PCs) when it launches on December 10.
In terms of minimum requirements, Nvidia is recommending a GeForce RTX 3070 to run Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p with 60 frames per second at high settings and ray tracing enabled, so it looks like you’ll need a fairly powerful graphics card to take full advantage of CD Projekt Red’s ambitious new title.
Cyberpunk 2077 appears to be one of the most resource-heavy games we’ve seen in recent years, with AMD also recommending a Ryzen 9 5900X processor and 16GB of RAM for running.
Is Cyberpunk 2077 CPU or GPU intensive?
