A ground loop isolator is designed to cancel out electrical interference between audio components, such as your car radio and your mobile phone. You’ll see that the mobile phone is a huge culprit in causing this annoyance.
This is because the radio signal and Bluetooth signals on mobile phones are much weaker than the electrical interference signals from within your car.
So, if you have ever noticed how your songs skip when you’re using your Bluetooth speaker, or how the sound on your car radio sounds choppy and full of static, this would be why ground loop noise isolator technology was created.

The problem with ground loop noise is that it is a very generic term that covers all sorts of problems. In some cases, it can be the cause of a buzzing noise that emanates from the same home that your audio system or a subwoofer in your vehicle’s audio system is in.
An example would be when a refrigerator or car stereo causes a pulsing hum to come out of an A/V receiver, and in some cases (depending on how sensitive the audio system is), this could end up sounding like an AC hum on the audio speakers.

Ground-loop noise isolator (also known as a ground loop isolator, or G.L.I.) is designed to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground-loops in audio systems.
It works by using a transformer to isolate the grounds of the source and device, preventing current from flowing through the ground loops.
Have you ever played your favourite song on your guitar amplifier, turned the volume to max and heard a buzzing sound, or a faint hum? If you have then it is most likely caused by ground loop noise.

The DS18 XM3 is a 3-Way Active Crossover w/ x20 Frequency Multiplier Switch that dives deep into the frequencies to individualize your subwoofers.
Active crossover design offers precise system control for varying speaker impedances, and also automatically compensates for power shelf slopes. System design can be optimized when speaker components vary from flat to peaked wavelengths.
A subwoofer phase switch alters the sound stage for accurate imaging from an on-wall or free field installation. The let-down frequency can be anywhere from 20Hz – 1000Hz, and a detente frequency selection (0-180 deg. ) will allow you to fine-tune crossover points for best sound.

When I bought this device I was not sure about what to expect from it. What it did do was remove the hum from my signal. I noticed I was getting a lot of noise when I used my microphones in certain areas where there seems to be a lot of electrical activity going on.
When the AC filters were installed into the process, all that noise was eliminated making my recordings clean and clear. I notice now that the hum has been removed, it also eliminated some other noises in the background as well.
If you are looking for a way to eliminate electrical noise from your recordings, this is a great way to go.

All too often, the bass amp’s cable interconnects will pass through an audio board and create a ground loop error due to multiple grounds. This phenomenon is especially prominent in the stage speaker ground wire cables.
Being connected to both the integral equipment ground of the amplifier/controller and the included grounding cable that is often used, results in 50% of the fault current that must flow, flowing through GND_CARRIER and thence to chassis ground.

9.Stinger Select SSGLI Ground Loop Isolator
Eliminates annoying ground loop induced hum from the audio signal when using RCA cables to connect your radio to sound system. Ground loops occur when the left and right channel grounds are connected together with a wire somewhere in the audio path.
If these grounds are allowed to “float independently”, they will produce a ground loop signal at a frequency equal to the signal being played through your stereo – ground loops can be virtually eliminated by utilizing this ground-loop isolator’s capacitive nature.
10.ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio and Home Stereo System with 3.5mm Aux Audio Cable
Noise is one of the common problems people complained about with their car stereos or audio receivers. We usually find it from high level of illumination, resonance filter, high pass or bass control, etc as well as from ground loop.
The ground loop noise emanated from two pieces of equipment’s connected by a power line which are grounded at different points. So what is the best way to fix this problem?Ground Loop Noise Isolator could be the ideal solution.
