Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG from CD Projekt Red, the same company that brought us The Witcher series. The game takes place in Night City, a city where you’re either at or near the top or at or near the bottom — there isn’t a middle ground. The world is filled with gangs, mercenaries, and other groups all vying for control of the city and its resources. As such, you’ll be dealing with a lot of action-oriented gameplay with guns, melee weapons, and cybernetics all being common sights.
Aside from its action-oriented gameplay, Cyberpunk 2077 has another thing going for it: incredible graphics. The game already looks stunning on current-gen consoles but is even better looking on PCs. Given that this is one of the most graphically demanding games coming out this year, you’ll want
When it comes to gaming laptops, those with high refresh rates and powerful processors usually top the list. However, cyberpunk is a style that differs greatly from other genres in terms of aesthetics and mechanics, so instead of focusing solely on these kinds of specifications, we will also be looking at visual fidelity.
If you’re not sure if your current PC will be able to run Cyberpunk 2077, don’t worry — we’ve put together a list of the best PCs that will help you run the game at 4K/60fps on ultra settings.

How much RAM do I need for Cyberpunk 2077?
Cyberpunk 2077 is a demanding game, and to get the best possible performance, it’s important to make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements. This guide will explain exactly how much RAM you need for Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM, though you’ll want at least 12GB of RAM if you want the game to run well. You can play with 16GB of RAM, but that’s not recommended unless you have a beefy gaming rig with an RTX 3080 or higher. If you’re playing on a console, you don’t have to worry about this, as they both come with 8GB of RAM as standard.
RAM is one of the most important components in any gaming PC, and it can make a huge difference in games like Cyberpunk 2077 that are very demanding and require lots of background processing.

Laptop computers are portable devices that make it easy to use a computer away from home or the office. They combine the input, processing and output components of a computer in one convenient package. Laptops can be used on the go with a Wi-Fi connection, and they’re easy to take out of your backpack or briefcase in order to check email at your favorite coffee shop.
Laptops come in all screen sizes, but the most common are 11-, 13-, 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-inch models. 7. Dell G5
Brand | Dell |
Screen Size | 15.6 Inches |
Human Interface Input | Microphone |
Hard Disk Size | 512 GB |
Processor Count | 6 |
The Dell G5 15 Gaming is the redesigned version of the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming, a budget gaming notebook that was released in late 2016. It has an all-plastic chassis, but with the new color scheme, it looks more premium than its predecessor. The plastic palm rest and lid are covered in a matte black finish, while the keyboard and touchpad frames have a silver brushed aluminum-like look.
The Dell G5 15 Gaming is one of the few gaming laptops priced under $1000 that comes with a dedicated GPU (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti). For those who can spend a bit more, Dell sells the G5 5587 with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics.
It’s also available with Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors and up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory. Storage options include PCIe NVMe SSDs and standard HDDs.
Like most other laptops in this price range, it doesn’t have IPS display options. You can only choose between TN panels with 1920 x 1080 pixels or 1366 x 768 pixels resolution.
8. MSI P65 Creator
Series | P65 Creator-1084 |
Brand | MSI |
Specific Uses For Product | Multimedia, Personal, Gaming |
Screen Size | 15.6 Inches |
Operating System | Win 10 Pro |
If you’re looking for a laptop with a 4K display, that’s not very heavy, and can handle some gaming, the MSI P65 Creator-1084 is a great option. It performs well in benchmarks and comes with an Nvidia GTX 1050 Max-Q GPU, so it can play some games, but it doesn’t have the performance to play AAA titles. If you’re okay with that or primarily use your laptop for photo editing or other creative tasks, then this model is worth considering.
The P65 has a 15.6-inch 4K display that looks great during photo editing and while watching movies. The colors are bright and vibrant, even if the contrast level isn’t as high as I’d like.
The keyboard is comfortable enough to type on for long periods of time, but the keys are shallow and have poor feedback. As someone who spends most of my day typing, I prefer a keyboard with more travel.
If you need something that’s portable enough to carry with you to work every day, but still packs some power for heavier tasks like photo editing or video rendering, then the MSI P65 Creator is worth considering.
9. Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop
Series | Legion |
Brand | Lenovo |
Screen Size | 15.6 Inches |
Operating System | Windows 10 Home |
Human Interface Input | Touchscreen, Keyboard |
The Legion 5 pairs a robust feature set with powerful processing and graphics in an unassuming package. The new AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor delivers up to 8 high-performance cores, plus the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics are ready for real-time ray tracing and AI-enhanced graphics.
Inside the slim, 15″ chassis is an efficient cooling system that pulls heat away from your CPU and GPU so you can push performance to the limit, with almost no noise emitted.
The Legion 5’s TrueStrike keyboard features 100% anti-ghosting, less than 1 ms response time, soft-landing switches, and a 4-zone RGB backlight.
And with Rapid Charge Pro technology you can recharge your battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
10. ASUS TUF Gaming A15
Brand | ASUS |
Screen Size | 15.6 Inches |
Operating System | Windows 10 Home |
Human Interface Input | Keyboard, Keypad Stroke |
CPU Manufacturer | AMD |
The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 is a budget-friendly gaming laptop that delivers smooth 1080p gaming performance and good battery life. In our review, we take a look at the 2020 edition with AMD’s latest Ryzen 4000 series processor.
The AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors launched in early April 2020, bringing a major performance uplift over existing Ryzen 3000 series mobile CPUs. The TUF Gaming A15 we’re looking at today features the 8-core/16-thread Ryzen 7 4800H processor, which also comes with an integrated Radeon RX Vega 7 GPU.
In terms of storage, the TUF Gaming A15 includes a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 1TB 5400 rpm HDD. How much of a bottleneck this is for overall system performance remains to be seen.
Unlike previous years, the 2020 TUF Gaming A15 is only available with one display option: a 15.6-inch 1080p 144Hz IPS panel with FreeSync support (3ms grey-to-grey response time). It’s not clear whether other display options will be available in the future, but it seems unlikely given AMD’s focus on FreeSync displays with its upcoming Renoir APUs.
What to look in Best Laptops For Cyberpunk
RAM
Next to the processor, RAM or Random Access Memory is another important component that affects the performance of your laptop. It is essentially a quick temporary storage area for your system and software where they can store vital information, which they may need fast.
If you are looking for a laptop that can run Cyberpunk 2077 with ease, we advise you to get one with at least 16GB of RAM. This will give you good performance even when playing on high settings.
Ideally speaking, the more RAM your laptop has; the better it can handle multiple programs without slowing down or lagging. So if you want to play Cyberpunk 2077 then having 32GB of RAM is recommended as it will allow you to play other games alongside it without any issues whatsoever!
There aren’t any laptops out there that come equipped with 64GB+ of RAM; however, if money isn’t an issue then why not invest in some quality hardware like this? You’ll be able to run everything smoothly and quickly on ultra settings all day long!
The difference between regular (system) ram and video ram is that VRAM is used by graphics card processors while regular ram works together with CPU memory controller hubs
On laptops, VRAM doesn’t have much impact on cyberpunk performance since most gaming laptops ship with dedicated graphics cards already in them so there isn’t much need for additional space unless someone wanted extra storage capabilities when travelling around town or something like that
Processor
The processor is the brain of your laptop. In fact, this is one of the most important features you should look for in a Cyberpunk laptop. Modern games are very intensive and require a powerful CPU to work at its best.
Fortunately, there are several Cyberpunk-ready processors available on laptops today. We recommend that you look for an Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor or better. You can also choose the AMD Ryzen 7 processor if you have a higher budget since it offers more gaming power than we need for this game.
Storage
Is a laptop with 500 GB storage enough? It depends on how you’re planning to use it. If you want to store lots of games and movies, then go for 1 TB or more. However, if you plan to only store documents and download files as needed, then 500 GB is plenty.
Speed is also a consideration. SSDs (Solid State Drives) are much faster than HDDs (Hard Disk Drives). They’re also lighter and less likely to be damaged in the event of a fall. You should get at least 128 GB of SSD storage because that’s what most laptops come with nowadays.
Battery Life
Battery life is an important consideration when buying a laptop. Look for laptops that can deliver at least 7 to 8 hours of battery life with regular usage. You can also use power-saving features on your laptop to improve its battery life. If you’ll be watching movies or playing games at low brightness then you’ll get better battery life.
Ports and Connectivity
The connectivity of a laptop is just as important as the hardware. To begin with, you want to make sure that you have at least one USB 3.0 port to connect a mouse (if needed). In addition, the more USB ports a device has, the easier it is to use at once.
Most laptops today have dedicated Ethernet ports and HDMI outputs, but some ultraportables ditch them in favour of smaller designs: Some MacBooks and Windows laptops only have USB-C ports, while Chromebooks often only feature SD card slots and headphone jacks. The more ports your laptop has, the better it will be for gaming.
Graphics Card
The Graphics Card (GPU) is arguably the most important component in a gaming laptop. It’s the hardware that generates and renders images, videos, and animations on your screen.
Video memory is used to store larger images, such as game textures, whereas system memory is used for more general program functions. Having dedicated video memory is necessary for high-quality gaming performances.
Thanks to technological advancements in recent years, you can now play games with beautiful graphics on laptops for good prices. The best budget laptop has a GPU that can run games at around 30 FPS (frames per second). A great budget laptop will have a GPU that runs most AAA games at 60 FPS.
Conclusion
We hope you like our recommendations and this buying guide helps you in choosing the best laptop for Cyberpunk 2077.
